Seyðisfjörður Archive for Literature is a declaration of love for a place and an attempt to capture, in words, the meeting between this place and the human beings that reside here for longer or shorter periods of time.

Some stay in the fjord for months – years – lives. Others briefly pass through yet always find themselves returning to the fjord that has the ability of getting us all a little lost in our own existence.

The archive consist of all kinds of texts such as poems, letters, novels, notes, unfinished thoughts and much more. The dogma of these texts is that they must have been produced in this fjord.
